Let me introduce you to two of the coolest people you’ll ever meet.
My sisters.

Shannon + Meredith + Laurel

MERE - Meredith

Let me just start by saying that my older sister is beyond incredible. From her goofiness that fills the room with bursts of laughter to the way she combines her talents with her passions, she is truly aaahhhh-mazing. She is an artist in every sense of the word. You see bits and pieces of her creativity, innovation, and style in every little thing she does. Her willingness to learn and adapt to her surroundings wherever God calls her is beautiful in itself.

Hearing stories about her time spent in India this last year continues to blow my mind. You can hear her heart for the causes she supports in every word she speaks and her desire to encourage others is truly inspiring. Whatever plans come next in her life, I know she will continue to grow and thrive wherever she finds herself.

SHANNI – Shannon

If you were to take a step back to look at all my little sister has accomplished over the years, your jaw would drop to the floor. The girl is currently reigning as Miss Garden Grove and on her way to Miss California in a few months– how insane is that?!? Her dedication to the program and its empowerment of young women is only one of the numerous ways she connects with and serves her community. When she isn’t wearing her crown, she’s dreaming of wearing one at Disneyland. The passion she has to be a part of the Disney magic through her job there is unreal. Whatever goal stands before her is met with determination and hope, a winning combination if I ever saw one. She also commits her time to investing in a wonderful group of high school girls at church and her loyalty to them is remarkable. I believe there is nothing this girl couldn’t accomplish if she set her mind to it.

The list of ambitions and adventures that my sisters have for their lives continues to impress and surprise me every year. Each is absolutely gorgeous and their hearts exude a beauty that can’t be overlooked – it is simply a part of who they are. I am proud to call these ladies my sisters, but even more grateful to also call them my friends.

Mere and Shanni – you are truly loved.
